Lisa Kereszi
|
| Lisa Kereszi studied photography at Bard College (B.A. 1995) and Yale University (M.F.A. 2000). She has worked as an assistant to Nan Goldin and is currently working as a freelance photographer in NYC. Her editorial work has appeared in books and magazines, including The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Nest, W, Details, GQ, Black Book, Jane, Newsweek, Tokion, Penthouse, Nylon, zingmagazine, Flaunt, wallpaper*, Bust and others. She was included in the 2003 list of the 30 top emerging photographers by Photo District News. She is on the faculty at the Yale University School of Art and the International Center of Photography. Her work is in many private collections and in that of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Altoids Curiously Strong Collection of the New Museum of Contemporary Art and the Yale Art Gallery. She has been shown in group shows at the Whitney Museum, Aldrich Museum, Bronx Museum of Art, Hunter College, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and at art fairs in New York and Berlin. She is represented by Yancey Richardson Gallery in NYC, where she has an upcoming show in February 2005. |
