After studying in Chicago and Washington D.C., Vincent McCloskey was granted the Special Fellowship Award to study at Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York City. He later pursued classical ballet training at the Joffrey Ballet School. Upon completion he danced professionally with Festival Ballet Rhode Island, Renvall Dance Company, Hellenic Ballet Theatre and Joffrey Ensemble. He has danced at major venues in Chicago, Washington D.C., Providence, Boston, Kanagawa, Japan and New York City. He hopes to pursue work in sign language interpretation when he is finished with his dance career.
